Pre-Ballet

Pre-Ballet classes are offered for students ages 3-5. In the pre-ballet levels, our main focus is to introduce the student to dance through introductory movement practices in a nurturing and fun environment. Students are introduced to basic ballet terminology and begin to learn the layout of a ballet class. Students in the pre-ballet levels attend class one day per week.

Beginner Ballet

Beginner ballet is offered to beginner students who have either graduated from the pre-ballet level or are entering ballet as an elementary student. Beginner ballet students continue to explore movement through furthering their knowledge of classical ballet technique and improving their strength and flexibility, as well as work to introduce musicality and expression. Beginner ballet students attend class one day per week.

 

Intermediate ballet

Intermediate ballet students are students who have graduated from the beginner level. Students work to improve upon correct and precise execution of their classical ballet technique, as well as integrating musicality and expression, and continuing to improve upon their level of strength and flexibility. Intermediate students attend class two days per week. Pointe may also be introduced within the intermediate level, with the guidance and permission of the instructor.

Adult Ballet

Adult beginner ballet classes are offered to anyone looking to improve coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility in an environment that promotes new experiences and having fun! No previous training is required. Students will learn the basics of classical ballet while working to improve their overall physical health during this course.

JAzz

Jazz is offered to students in two levels based on age, beginning with age 6. In jazz technique class, students will learn the basic fundamentals of classical jazz technique, as well as dive into different units such as lyrical, theatrical jazz, and contemporary jazz dance.

advanced ballet

Advanced ballet students have graduated from all levels of intermediate and are in a level of pre-professionalism that is characterized by more serious training. Advanced students have a deep knowledge of ballet technique and are striving to mature as artists in the realm of musicality and expression. Advanced students attend class three to four days per week.

Acrobatics

Acrobatic art classes are available for students starting at age 5. Students will learn basic tumbling and learn to increase their strength through acrobatic movement. Acrobats is broken up into two levels, depending on the student’s age, ability, and experience with acrobatic arts.

Tap

Tap, similar to jazz, is offered to students in two levels based on age, beginning with age 5. Students in tap will learn the fundamentals of tap dance while also focusing on musicality and ability to recognize, count, and perform rhythms and patterns.
